5tldr is an AI-powered article summarization tool that helps users quickly understand the key points of web articles, PDFs, YouTube videos, and other text content. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

3. Use of Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

  • Use the Service to summarize content you do not have the right to access
  • Attempt to bypass any usage limits or restrictions
  • Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT SUMMARIES WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. AI-GENERATED SUMMARIES MAY CONTAIN ERRORS OR OMISSIONS.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 5TLDR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

8. Usage Limits

We may impose limits on the number of summaries you can generate or other aspects of the Service. Free plan usage requires login and is subject to daily limits. These limits may change at any time. Excessive or abusive use may result in temporary or permanent suspension of access.

9. Paid Subscriptions, Billing & Auto-Renewal

If you purchase a paid subscription ("Pro"), you authorize us (via our payment provider) to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless canceled before renewal.
  • Pricing: The price shown at checkout will be charged each billing period, plus any applicable taxes required by law.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period unless required otherwise by law.

10. Refunds

Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at hello@5tldr.com.

EU/EEA/UK consumers: If you purchase digital services and request immediate access, you may lose your statutory right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed. Where required, we will ask for the necessary consents at checkout or before providing immediate access.

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Any references to future or "coming soon" features (including on our pricing page or marketing materials) are provided for informational purposes only and are not a guarantee that such features will be available at a particular time or at all.
