Chrome Extension

  • Page Content: When you click the extension, we extract the text content of the current webpage to generate a summary. This content is sent to our servers for processing.
  • Page URL: The URL of the page being summarized (used for share links).
  • Language Preference: Your selected output language, stored locally in your browser.
  • Usage Count: We record usage counts in our database to enforce daily limits for free and Pro plans (login required for usage).

How We Use Your Information

  • Generate Summaries: Page content is processed by our AI to create summaries.
  • Create Share Links: When you share a summary, we store it temporarily to generate a shareable link.
  • Improve Our Service: Anonymous analytics help us understand usage patterns and improve features.

Data Storage & Retention

  • Summaries: Generated summaries are not stored unless you create a share link.
  • Share Links: Shared summaries are stored in our database and may be retained indefinitely to keep share links working.
  • Browsing History: We do NOT store or track your browsing history. We only process the specific page you choose to summarize.
  • Local Storage: Language preferences may be stored locally in your browser. Usage counts are stored on our servers to enforce daily limits.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • AI Processing: We use third-party AI model providers to generate summaries and chat responses (for example, via OpenAI-compatible APIs). Your submitted content may be transmitted to these providers solely to provide the Service.
  • Hosting: Our website is hosted on Vercel.
  • Database & Authentication: We use Supabase for authentication and storing your data (e.g., subscriptions, usage logs, chats, and shared summaries).
  • Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand usage patterns and improve our service.
  • Payments: If you purchase Pro, payments are processed by our payment provider (Creem). We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

International Data Transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, this may involve transferring your personal data outside your country.
